Tonight's Workout: 10 Minute Trainer & Great Body
Yoga Flex
Total Body
Cardio
Great Body-Abs
I must be near insane!
Starting off with the Yoga is great.. nice stretch to get me going for cardio. Total Body was a slammin' addition to the two and then i had to spend myself with the Abs (Tony Horton is the trainer in this sequence).. THAT WAS INTENSE. the first set was hard, then you do the same thing AGAIN.. NON STOP.. WHOA! my abs are going to be 6 pack beauties come May if i can keep this up!!! I do need to slow down just a little.. an old knee injury i had back in High School is resurfacing, and i pulled a muscle walking in the grocery store tonight.. The weirdest spot too.. it's the muscle that connects the top of the foot to the ankle.. if i put pressure on it at a certain angle it hurts really bad.. Thankfully tomorrow is a rest day due to a doctors appointment.. i'll protein up and ice it until Wednesday. Hopefully it will be better by then..
I did notice in the store tonight (when i was walking up to the door) that my legs are getting major definition to them, i'm very happy about that. My arms look great, my back is getting ripped and now my abs are on their way as well.
I do feel that adding the Great Body routines to my workouts PLUS the "Awaken The Body" Yoga routine with Tony Horton is adding some real good diversity. I might have to start adding Tae Bo Kick Boxing as i get closer to the holidays to kick it up a notch, once i get through all of that i might spring for the power 90. I'm saving for a wedding here so it might not be practical to do so. Just thinking out loud, maybe i'll see if anyone i know has it and if it's collecting dust i'll ask to borrow it until my wedding.. Then i'll splurge on that and the p90x! I am so scared of that workout series for some reason. I guess i don't want to fail.
Ok done rambling.. Have a blessed evening (or day depending on where you are) and keep those workouts going!
