Day 11

8/13/09 10-Minute Trainer® > Total Body 2, 10-Minute Trainer® > Lower Body, 10-Minute Trainer® > Yoga Flex

Last night i had more energy than a power station and i don't know where it came from so i put it to good use!

While eating dinner i decided to watch some of the 10 minute trainer cd's to see which ones I was "feeling". The winner is!..... Lower Body.. YIKES!

After dinner was consumed, cleaned up, laundry was drying and car windows were washed, i set up my workout equipment, mat and DVD player and got busy.

I started with Total Body 2- AWESOME workout! not too much cardio involved so i wasn't spent by the time the 10 minutes were up. Next Lower body... WOOOOOOOOOOOW.. That was a serious workout! Legs were definitely feeling the burn by the 3rd minute. I decided to finish with Yoga flex. Smart move.. it stretched my muscles enough so that i am not super sore today.

I felt great after the 30 minutes, probably the best since i started the series a couple of weeks ago. I do have an opinion on the Yoga Flex though.

If you have never taken a Yoga class before this workout is more of a stretching routine. If you don't do it correctly you can injure yourself. Another thing i want to mention is that this Yoga routine moves quickly which I'm not used to. Yoga is more of slow movement with breathing, but all-in-all it's a good finisher workout.
